What are interference pigment powders?

Interference pigment powders are specialized pearlescent pigments that yield distinctive optical effects. They might appear to look just white, but when viewed at an angle, beautiful iridescent colors start dancing in the light! Their main purpose is to create sparkle!!

How do I use them?

These pigments are meant to be used in a transparent fashion over black or dark colors to show their brilliance. First, apply the pigment directly to your silicone mould with an applicator, such as a sponge or brush. Next, pour black or a dark coloured resin into your mould and leave to cure!

You can also use mix the interference pigment powder directly into clear resin which will result in an ultra sparkly white pigment with a colour shift according to the colour (e.g blue interference).

Interference powders can also be mixed into other coloured pigments to create gorgeous colors with a colorshift effect!
